ABOUT THE AGREEMENT
OVERVIEW
Royal Society Publishing offers waived Article Processing Charges (APCs) to corresponding authors from EIFL partner countries when they publish in one of their two fully open access journals, Open Biology and Royal Society Open Science.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The agreement is valid for two fully open access journals from the Royal Society Publishing.
Below are the agreed terms:
- Waived Article Processing Charges (100% discount - no fees) for corresponding authors from: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Botswana, Congo, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lesotho, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, North Macedonia, Palestine, Senegal, Serbia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe
Note: This list of countries will be reviewed annually and any changes for 2022 will be communicated no later than 30th June 2021.
Conditions: the corresponding author must be based in one of the above eligible countries.
HOW DOES IT WORK
The waiver will be automatically applied during the submission system once the country is indicated.
HOW CAN I FIND JOURNALS THAT ARE INCLUDED IN THE OFFER?
You can view the title list here and browse it by subject. This title list will be updated once a year, no later than 31st July each year. The current list was confirmed on 8th September 2020.
