EIFL in Myanmar

Myanmar became an EIFL project country in December 2013, when we launched eLibrary Myanmar project.

The four-year project, which ends in December 2019,  supports educational change at an expanding range of universities in Myanmar by enabling access to knowledge and building skills and capacities.

A wealth of scholarly e-resources is available to academics and students for the first time, and an intensive programme of training is underway to ensure that awareness and usage is maximized. Training will also be provided on open access, copyright, and building an effective library consortium.
