In this video (9 min 33 sec) Ramune Petuchovaite, EIFL Public Library Innovation Programme (EIFL-PLIP) Manager, explains how to write a budget justification for a library project that aims to develop a new ICT-based library service.

The video outlines the main elements of a budget justification statement, and uses the real-life example of an EIFL-PLIP-supported library project in Ghana to demonstrate how to justify a budget in relation to four cost categories: equipment, personnel and contracted services, training, and the category ‘other costs’.
