We are happy to share the fourth version of the EIFL Digital Research Literacy Training Programme Outline for Librarians, which is available for download in PDF or you can view it online

The EIFL Digital Research Literacy Training Programme Outline for Librarians is a comprehensive collection of resources to enable academic librarians to equip researchers and students with the skills, knowledge and understandings required to produce quality research outputs in a digital environment.

The training programme outline is organized according to the research cycle: Discover, Manage Research Data, Publish, Disseminate and Increase Visibility, and Measure Impact. Each section gives an overview of the topic, what the trainer should cover, and what the learner should gain by the end of the training.

The updated version includes new resources for facilitators and learners in various formats. There are webinars, videos and online tutorials, library guides, tipsheets and examples of handouts and presentations. We have removed resources that have become outdated and we have replaced links that are no longer working.

The EIFL Digital Research Literacy Training Programme Outline for Librarians was first published in November 2020, after an EIFL survey found that librarians in academic institutions in developing and transition economy countries were struggling to provide this training in an ever-changing digital world.

Thanks to all the universities whose resources are included in the training programme outline, and the people who gave presentations and shared their expertise through EIFL webinars.
