EIFL Public Library Innovation Programme - training of public library trainers in Namibia.

Public librarians who have completed training-of-trainers programmes organized by the EIFL Public Library Innovation Programme (EIFL-PLIP) and partners in Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Uganda and Zambia are invited to attend this informal online knowledge sharing event - a ‘T-break’ for trainers - on the topic, ‘Inclusive Library Services for Persons with Print Disabilities’. The T-break is co-organized with the IFLA Libraries Serving Persons with Print Disabilities (LPD) Section.

There will be tree guest speakers – Yasmine Youssuf, Researcher at Assistive Technology Development Organization, Egypt; Ellen Follin, Librarian of The Swedish Agency for Accessible Media, and Dalia Balčytytė, Head of Information Resources Department, Lithuanian Audiosensory Library. The topic will be the IFLA LPD Section's work on new guidelines to help library staff to develop library services that address the needs of persons with print disabilities. The T-break will end with the discussion, knowledge sharing and feedback session.

The aim of the T-breaks is to refresh the trainers’ knowledge, share practical experiences and to build local and cross-border support networks of public library trainers in Africa.
