Join this EIFL webinar on how to train students and researchers about using open access (OA) to increase research impact, one of the topics addressed in the EIFL Digital Research Literacy Training Programme Outline for Librarians. The webinar is for academic (university and research) librarians who are currently providing or are planning to provide digital research literacy training for students and researchers.

The presenters are David Ball, UKeiG Information Group Chair, CILIP (UK) and Obrad Vučkovac, Library Manager, ‎Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences (Serbia). Their input focuses on training students and researchers about publishing works openly and raising awareness about the advantages of open access; finding an open access publisher and a suitable repository; understanding funders' expectations and policies; securing funding for Article Processing Charges (APCs) where applicable, or getting APC discounts or waivers.

This is the fifth in a series of 12 EIFL webinars in which presenters give practical advice, ideas and tips on how to train on topics included in the EIFL Digital Research Literacy Training Programme Outline. The webinars all take place on Wednesdays at 9:00 GMT.
