EIFL advocates at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for an international copyright framework that benefits libraries, in particular, in developing and transition countries. We participate in sessions of WIPO’s Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR) that meets in Geneva two to three times a year. Here we work with Member States to increase their understanding of library copyright issues in the digital environment and to gain their support for international reform.

This is a collection of statements made in 2015 on agenda items Limitations and exceptions for libraries and archives, Limitations and exceptions for education and for persons with other disabilities, and Protection of broadcast organizations.
