Martin Donnelly, Senior Institutional Support Officer, Digital Curation Centre, UK, gave this presentation during the EIFL General Assembly in 2013 as part of the "Trends to Watch" session.
Donnelly talks briefly about how the Digital Curation Centre works with UK universities to identify gaps in Resource Data Management (RDM) and raise capabilities across the sector. Then he defines RDM, explains what is meant by "data", before talking about the drivers behind RDM. Finally, he discusses the barriers and roles for libraries.
