Janet Sawaya, EIFL Public Library Innovation Programme (EIFL-PLIP) Africa Advisor, describes the aims, work, outcomes and impact of EIFL-PLIP, focusing on EIFL-PLIP’s contribution to enhancing public internet access through libraries and building libraries' capacity to offer ICT-based services.

The presentation took place during a session of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Dynamic Coalition on Public Libraries (DC-PAL) at the the International Federation of Library Institutions and Associations (IFLA) World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) in Columbus, Ohio, in August 2016.
