
Ramune Petuchovaite, Manager of the EIFL Public Library Innovation Programme (EIFL-PLIP), will participate in satellite meetings and the main conference of the 2026 International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) World Library and Information Congress (WLIC). The Congress is themed ‘Libraries Powering Transformation’.
On 8 August, ahead of the main conference, Ramune will present a case study at the IFLA Information Literacy Section's satellite meeting themed, ‘Information Literacy in a Disrupted Information Ecosystem: AI, Misinformation, and Trust’. Ramune's case study is co-authored with Ugne Lipeikaite, EIFL-PLIP Impact Manager, and is based on the experience of implementing the ‘Digital Learning @ Ghana Public Libraries’ project.
On 7 August Ramune will participate in a satellite meeting titled, 'Transforming Social Connections through Libraries’, after which she will participate in the main event, which starts on 10 August.
