Poster by EIFL, African Journals Online (AJOL) and the West and Central African Research and Education Network (WACREN) detailing progress in implementation of the ‘Collaboration for sustainable open access publishing in Africa’ project.

The poster was presented for the OASPA (Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association) 2024 Conference that took place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 16 - 18 September, 2024.

The three-year project, launched in November 2023, aims to strengthen the quality and sustainability of diamond open access (OA) publishing services across Africa. Diamond OA is a scholarly publication model in which journals and platforms do not charge fees to either authors or readers. The project is jointly implemented by EIFL, AJOL and WACREN, and is supported by Wellcome.
