Iryna Kuchma, EIFL Open Access Programme Manager, has been invited to act as a workshop session discussant during the 2nd FAIR Convergence Symposium.
The Symposium is organized by CODATA (the Committee on Data of the International Science Council) and GO FAIR. Discussion will focus on convergence and implementation of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data principles.
Kuchma will act as a discussant during Session 2 of the workshop, ‘The need for data policy in times of crisis’, on the first day of the Symposium, 24 October. Session 2 is titled, ‘Data generation, data processing, data sharing, and the role of the FAIR Data Principles in data policy responding to crisis situations’.
The Symposium takes place in person in Leiden and online. Most of the sessions are open, and participation is free of charge.
