EIFL is one of 11 partners taking part in the OPTIMA project, which promotes openness and transparency in research in Ukraine by fostering open science practices and open peer review among early career researchers and others who are interested. 

A series of project virtual workshops, from 16 - 18 November, will finalize the open peer review workflows and other features, including recommendations on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and web accessibility compliance of the OPTIMA online Open Peer Review platform for academic conferences. Discussion of open science training approaches in participating Ukrainian universities is also on the agenda.
