EIFL and EIFL’s partner library consortium in Côte d'Ivoire, Consortium des Bibliothèques de l‘Enseignement Supérieur de Cote d‘Ivoire (COBES-CI), will host a series of workshops on open access (OA) as part of Open Access Week 2019 celebrations. The OA Week celebrations in Côte d'Ivoire are organized in partnership with Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, UNESCO and the telecommunications company, MTN CI. 

Highlights of the week - 

• 18 November: Iryna Kuchma, EIFL Open Access Programme Manager will speak at the OA Week opening ceremony at the Université Alassane Ouattara. The presentation will be followed by a workshop on OA for researchers and students. 
• 19 - 20 November: Kuchma will facilitate a workshop on OA policies and repositories at the Université Virtuelle de Côte d'Ivoire. The workshop will be attended by universities from across the country.  
• 22 November: A series of workshops for researchers and students at the Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny.
