EIFL’s renewed agreement with Royal Society Publishing, which runs until December 2023, includes free and discounted access to eight Royal Society Journals for 38 EIFL partner countries:
Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Botswana, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, North Macedonia, Palestine, Senegal, Serbia, Slovenia, Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
The agreement also offers authors from 33 EIFL partner countries the option to publish their articles in open access for free in one of their two fully open access journals: Open Biology and Royal Society Open Science.
Waived article processing charges (APCs) are offered to corresponding authors from: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Botswana, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lesotho, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, North Macedonia, Palestine, Senegal, Serbia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
