This webinar is a part of a series of EIFL webinars based on knowledge and experience gained from implementing projects to strengthen no-fee (Diamond) open access journal publishing. Future topics include approaches to optimizing journal processes and workflows; motivating reviewers and using Reviewer Credits; performing expert audits to inform strategic planning and shape the journal profile; journal impact, communications, marketing and visibility strategies; financial sustainability planning; collaboration, and other topics suggested by webinar participants. The presenters are grantees of the ‘Collaboration for sustainable open access publishing in Africa’ project, implemented by EIFL, AJOL (African Journals Online) and WACREN (the West and Central African Research and Education Network) with funding from Wellcome.
