The Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information (SCSTI) will host a national workshop on OpenAIRE (Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe).

EIFL Open Access Programme Manager Iryna Kuchma will give a presentation titled OpenAIRE: Fostering the social and technical links that enable open science in Europe and beyond. EIFL Open Access Programme Coordinator Gwen Franck will speak about the European Commission’s openaire.eu/postgrantoapilot FP7 post-grant Open Access publishing funds pilot. 

The workshop will also cover open access in Horizon 2020, support policies for open science and open access in Slovakia, and Creative Commons licenses and how to avoid predatory publishers.
