EIFL will be celebrating Open Access Week 2023 (OA Week 2023) with libraries and researchers in our partner countries.

The theme of OA Week 2023 is ‘Community over Commercialization’, aiming to encourage conversations about which approaches to open scholarship prioritize the best interests of the public and the academic community, and which do not.

OA Week is an annual, global event established by SPARC to raise awareness about open access and to call for open access to be the norm in scholarship and research. Iryna Kuchma, EIFL Open Access Programme Manager, is a member of the Open Access Week Advisory Committee.
