Participants at a 2015 EIFL workshop on open access policies and repository development in Myanmar.

EIFL, in association with the University of Mandalay and the University of Yangon, will run a series of seminars and meetings to finalize institutional open access policies and launch open access repositories.

The seminars and meetings will take place between 2 - 9 March, and are part of the EIFL eLibrary Myanmar project.

Iryna Kuchma (EIFL Open Access Programme manager) and Michael Guthrie (Founder and Director at KnowledgeArc) will co-organize, facilitate and present at these seminars and meetings.  

Funded by the Open Society Foundations Higher Education Programme, the EIFL eLibrary Myanmar project is supporting educational change at an expanding range of universities by enabling access to knowledge and building skills and capacities.  The project has already had significant impact.
