The second meeting of the Community of Practice (CoP) for no-fee OA publishing in Africa, that now includes 337 members, will take place on 19 February 2025 at 10:00 UTC. 

The meeting will be moderated by Femi Arogundade, of WACREN (West and Central African Research and Education Network), and Iryna Kuchma and Milica  Ševkušić, of the EIFL Open Access Programme. Topics include training for editors, reviewers and authors; AI tools and their limitations; recognition of the work of editors and peer reviewers; the use of Persistent identifiers, and sustainability issues regarding no-fee OA publishing.
