EIFL eLibrary Myanmar project Capacity Building Manager Ruth Bird will facilitate three workshops in Yangon for directors of project partner libraries.

The workshops follow work undertaken in 2017, dealing with collections and library management.  The workshops will include reviews of newly-developed collection management procedures and policies, and of the organizational structure and responsibilities of library staff.

The workshops aim to support librarians in addressing challenges posed by the rapid development of IT infrastructure at their libraries, and the introduction of a range of high-quality international journals, databases and e-books through the EIFL eLibrary Myanmar Project.
