Participants in the moderated e-learning course will learn about:
- the advantages of Open Access and Open Research Data for the funder’s remit;
- the requirements of Horizon 2020 regarding Open Access and OpenResearch Data;
- what elements make a successful Open Access policy; and how to develop an effective Open Research Data policy.

Research funders who are new to Open Access and Open Research Data could also join the FOSTER/PASTEUR4OA introductory self-learning course for funders, Designing Successful Open Access and Open Data Policies. The self-learning course cover the same topics, at an introductory level:
