The Diamond OA Policy Forum for Africa, Europe and Latin America is an online space where policymakers, funders and OA  experts share, discuss, and develop policy recommendations and funding mechanisms that work across various contexts to support more equitable, diverse and community-led Diamond Open Access publishing.

Following a series of regional meetings held in March 2026 in Africa, Europe and Latin America, this cross-regional Diamond OA Policy Forum (Africa–Europe–Latin America) will connect these conversations. It will open with brief highlights from the regional meetings, with each region sharing insights and emerging priorities. Building on these reflections, discussion will focus on commonalities and policy synergies, before examining Diamond OA policy provisions.

Interpretation will be provided in French, Portuguese and Spanish.
