This video, in Lithuanian with English sub-titles, tells how librarians at 'A&M Miskiniai' Public Library in Utena, Lithuania, worked with educational and computer software experts to develop a computer game to encourage at risk children to reconnect with their teachers and schools. The game, called Iššūkis (‘Challenge’), motivates children to learn while lowering their risk of dropping out of school.

The project - titled 'Play to Study' - was initiated with support from the EIFL Public Library Innovation Programme in 2010. After a successful pilot period in Utena, the library received funding to expand the project to nine more municipalities, where it reaches over 9,000 children from 58 schools through 113 libraries.

In 2013, the library's computer game was named Lithuanian winner of the European Award for the Best Content for Kids 2013 contest.
