EIFL-OUP agreement includes free or discounted access to journals and online products and APC-free publishing in fully open access journals

EIFL has renewed an agreement with Oxford University Press (OUP) for a further year until 31 December 2025. The agreement includes free and discounted access to journals and online products and waived article processing charges (APCs) to fully open access (Gold) journals.

Access to Journals and Online Products

Libraries from the following countries can subscribe to a full collection of 375 journals and a range of online products:

Free access to Oxford Journals and Online Products 

Congo (DR), Ethiopia, Ghana, Côte D’Ivoire, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lesotho, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova (current subscribers). Myanmar, Nepal, Palestine, Senegal, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Ukraine, Zambia

Access at discounted rates to Oxford Journals and Online Products 

  • Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Fiji, Georgia, Kenya, Kosovo, Moldava (for new subscribers only), Namibia, North Macedonia, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe

Waived APCs 

Corresponding authors from 29 EIFL partner countries can publish accepted articles in OUP’s fully open access journals for free. This means that they will not be charged any APCs.
