The EBSCO Publishing Premier Package includes cross-searchable access to eight major databases: Academic Search PremierBusiness Source PremierERICMasterfile PremierNewspaper SourceHealth Source: Nursing & AcademicHealth Source: Consumer Edition, and Medline. Access is via EBSCOhost which offers sophisticated yet intuitive functionality and a wide range of customisation options to support the needs of the widest possible range of users. A new mobile interface is now available.

The EBSCO Publishing Premier Package is a multidisciplinary package for academic, research and public libraries.  It provides coverage of every subject from anthropology to zoology. Particular subjects include the social sciences and humanities, business, nursing, medicine and allied health. The package also includes a database of newspapers.

 

Cross-searchable access via the powerful and intuitive EBSCOhost service to 11,000 full text, peer-reviewed journals and over 15,000 abstracted and indexed titles contained in eight major databases: 
 
Academic Search Premier: Contains indexing and abstracts for more than 13,700 journals, with full text for more than 4,700 of those titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles. Offers comprehensive full-text coverage in areas including biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, psychology, and religion & theology.
 
Business Source Premier: Features the full text for more than 2,200 journals. Full text is provided back to 1965, and searchable cited references back to 1998.  Provides excellent coverage of all business disciplines, including marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance and economics. Additional full text, non-journal content includes market research reports, industry reports, country reports, company profiles and SWOT analyses.  Subscribers also get complimentary access to Regional Business News.  
 
ERIC (the Education Resource Information Center): Provides access to information from journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index.  It contains more than 1.4 million records and links to more than 337,000 full-text documents. 
  
MasterFILE Premier: Designed for public libraries, this database contains full text for nearly 1,700 periodicals covering general reference, business, health, education, general science, multicultural issues and much more. It also contains full text more than 500 reference books, over 81,900 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of over 935,000 photos, maps and flags.
   
Newspaper Source: Provides cover-to-cover full text for more than 40 US and international newspapers, plus full text television and radio news transcripts from organisations including CBS News, CNN, CNN International and FOX News, and NPR.   

Health Source: Nursing & Academic: Provides over 500 scholarly full-text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Topics include critical care, mental health, child & adolescent psychiatric nursing, nurse management, nurse ethics, addiction & recovery counseling, medical law, reproductive medicine, environmental health, bereavement and many more. 
  
Health Source: Consumer Edition: Provides full text access to nearly 80 consumer health magazines and almost 100 health reference books, plus current, health-related pamphlets.  Also contains more than 13,000 Clinical Reference Systems reports (in English and Spanish), the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide, and Merriam-Webster's Medical Desk Dictionary. 
 
Medline: Provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy, subheadings and explosion capabilities to search citations from over 5,600 current biomedical journals.
