ABOUT THE AGREEMENT
OVERVIEW
Edward Elgar Publishing offers discounted Article Processing Charges (APCs) to authors from EIFL partner countries when they publish in an Edward Elgar hybrid journal.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The agreement is valid for 9 hybrid Edward Elgar journals.
Below are the agreed terms:
- 50% discount for corresponding authors from: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Botswana, Cambodia, China, Congo, Estonia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Georgia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Malawi, Maldives, Moldova, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, North Macedonia, Palestine, Senegal, Serbia, Slovenia, Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Zambia, Zimbabwe
Conditions: the corresponding author must be based in one of the above eligible countries.
HOW DOES IT WORK
After acceptance of an article for publication, the editor will communicate with the author by email. Authors should let editors know that they qualify for the above discount of 50%, to make sure it will be applied to their invoice.
HOW DO I KNOW THE EXACT COST OF THE DISCOUNTED APC?
The list price APC is 1,200 GBP. You will have to reduce this price by 50%, so the discounted APC price is 600 GBP.
HOW CAN I FIND JOURNALS THAT ARE INCLUDED IN THE OFFER?
You can view the title list here and browse it by subject. This title list will be updated once a year, no later than 31st July each year. The current list was confirmed on 28th October 2019.
