Poster by EIFL, African Journals Online (AJOL) and the West and Central African Research and Education Network (WACREN) describing the ‘Collaboration for sustainable open access publishing in Africa’ project.

The three-year project, launched in November 2023, aims to strengthen the quality and sustainability of diamond open access (OA) publishing services across Africa. Diamond OA is a scholarly publication model in which journals and platforms do not charge fees to either authors or readers.

The poster was created for the Global Summit on Diamond Open Access, which took place from 23 - 27 October 2023 in Toluca, Mexico. The project is jointly implemented by EIFL, AJOL and WACREN, and is supported by Wellcome.
