Our 2025 Annual Report, highlighting achievements and progress for the year, is now online. We’re happy to share results of three projects aiming to strengthen no-fee (Diamond) open access journal publishing in Africa. In Europe, we have joined five major organizations in a call on policymakers to remove barriers and accelerate the transition to open science, and in response to a European Commission consultation on copyright, we are calling for an EU-wide research exception and Secondary Publication Right. Our project in Ghana is continuing to spark new public library programmes that boost school students’ digital skills, and we’ve released a new video in our ‘Small Bites’ series of training videos for public librarians. You can view our events here. Enjoy the issue!
