DONATE TO EIFL
Season’s greetings from the EIFL team! We are delighted to share news of an award for our Open Access (OA) Programme Manager, Iryna Kuchma. Our call for proposals for projects to strengthen no-fee OA publishing in Africa bore fruit, with grants awarded to 17 projects in 9 countries. We announce renewed agreements with four of our publisher partners, and we welcome a new partnership with The Microbiology Society. All of these agreements include OA publishing terms, waiving or discounting Article Processing Charges (APCs) for authors - and we are happy to share statistical analysis that shows they are succeeding in contributing to increased OA publishing in our partner countries. You can see all of our events here. Enjoy the issue and see you in the New Year.
