September - October 2022

DONATE TO EIFL
We bring you news about an exciting campaign to open knowledge in climate and biodiversity. We’ve also joined a 23-partner project to develop Diamond open access in Europe. Our support for Ukrainians during the war with Russia continues: we’re part of the SUES campaign that has raised funds to help 47 Ukrainian academic journals to continue publishing, and we’ve produced a guide to help European libraries quickly source accessible reading materials for Ukrainian refugees with print disabilities. We’ve renewed two agreements with our publisher partners - IOP Publishing and Edward Elgar. And thanks to everyone who participated in our 2022 General Assembly, online for the third year - we hope to meet in person next year. Enjoy the issue. You can view our events, past and present, here.
