DONATE TO EIFL
Our new Public Library Innovation Award call is still open for applications, with just under a month to deadline. Sadly, our global community could not meet in person for the 2020 EIFL General Assembly, but we are happy to report that our virtual Assembly attracted great participation and sparked lively discussion about the impact of COVID-19 on universities and library services in different countries. Teresa Hackett, EIFL-IP Manager, blogs about the WIPO Assemblies 2020, and Iryna Kuchma, EIFL-OA Manager, was a member of the team of experts who contributed to the newly-released UNESCO Draft Recommendation on Open Science. We are delighted to announce three new agreements with publishers. We’ve continued to organize and participate in events and webinars, and you can read all about our past and future events here. Enjoy the issue!
