EIFL webinar: The EIFL Open Access Programme is starting 2019 with a series of webinars highlighting new developments in open repositories platforms. Join us for the first webinar in the series, to learn about a new open source repositories platform that Ubiquity Press (ubiquitypress.com/) will be releasing in early 2019.

Based on the Hyku platform from the Hydra-in-a-Box project, and currently being developed in partnership with the British Library, the new platform offers cloud-hosting for institutional repositories, requiring no institutional IT management, and is low cost. The platform is completely open source and there is no technological or contractual lock-in.

Brian Hole will give an overview of the platform and discuss how it compares to other repositories such as DSpace and EPrints.

Date and time: Friday, January 25 at 9:00am GMT
