Reception to discuss the role of public internet access in developing a comprehensive strategy for connecting the next billion

Janet Sawaya, EIFL Public Library Innovation Programme Advisor for Initiatives for Africa, will take part in a evening reception at which delegates will discuss how public internet access centres, libraries, community networks and offline internet can combine to connect billions of people who are not yet connected.

The reception is hosted by the Partnership for Public Access (P4PA), in which EIFL is a partner. It takes place on 13 November from 7:30pm – 9:30pm at the American Library in Paris, during the Internet Governance Forum 2018, which is also taking place in Paris.
